Stop The Chewing
Do you get extremely angry at your dog when he or she starts to chew your furniture, clothes or other belongings? Well, there is quite an easy way to stop it. The simple way is to catch him in the act and tell him off, or you can try purchasing some special spray so that it creates a nasty taste in his mouth when he chews your personal items.
You can get this spray from basically all reasonable pet stores from where you live and all it is, is a spray that has some horrible flavour inside it. I have never personally used it as my dog has never had problems with chewing things, but I have heard good feedback from people who have used it.
One other very effective way to get your dog to stop chewing your things is to get him a chew toy as this gives him physical and mental stimulation but never get anything that looks like something you own (e.g a chewy shoe) as when to toy gets ruined or not chewable enough, he will decide to start chewing on the real thing, which will just make it worse! Other than that, toys are a good way to making your dog forget about chewing your furniture.
